Easter

Yesterday, I celebrated Easter with my family. It was lots of fun. We went to my cousins' farm and hung out with extended family for most of the day. Then, in the evening, I went to Mars Hill with my brother and his friend. It was such a good service. At the end, there was open baptism and crazy as it was, I got baptized! It was so cool. I should have been baptized way sooner, but it was so cool to finally take that step. I'm so happy.

St. Patricks Day

So, for anyone who didn't know, I went home this last weekend for St. Patricks Day. It was alot of fun. I hung out with my family and my good friend Tirzah. Tirzah slept over at our house and we talked till the wee-hours of the morning. We're hoping to go shopping next weekend when I'm home. Now I just need to catch up some sleep.

Things that just don't happen in Seattle

1. You can't take a shower in the morning because the well broke....
2. If you miss your exit, you have to drive another 15 miles to turn around
3. It takes 45 minutes to drive to the mall
4. The only job you can find is working at an alpaca farm (for you city folks- an alpaca is like a lama)
5. The only style among youth is grunge (and Carharts and Romeos, if the guy shoes are Romeos, why aren't the girls Julietts?)
6. Going to town is a half hour drive
7. Deer regularly chase your car

3 More Months

Its crazy to know that I've already been here in Centralia for over six months. I miss Seattle alot, but I'm sure God has plans that I don't even see. I'm so excited for the Thailand/Cambodia trip. Its going to amazing, I just know it... Also, I'm looking forward to seeing my family for Easter and spring break the first week in April. I think that its been good for me to get out of the house for a school year and grow closer to God. I'm learning that I have to fully trust him. I often get frustrated, but I'm sure it'll all work out in the end.

Crazy Busy Week

This last week I've been on the go... Sunday through Wednesday I was in Seattle working a Microsoft conference in Seattle and Thursday through Saturday I worked at the Northwest youth conference in Yakima. I miss my family and friends from Seattle alot. I'm looking forward to Spring break the first week of April. It seems like I'm constantly going, so it will be nice to have a breather... Also, I'm going home for Easter which will be very nice. It would be a shame to miss all the family traditions.
