A pic for Ri

Here's Kutless. They're AWESOME!!! Ri and I had to post this...

Christmas in August

Tonight we're having relatives over for dinner. We're going to be drawing names for our Christmas gift exchange. (kinda weird but that's how our extended family does it) Rabenstrange thought it would be fun if we decorated for Christmas and made it into a kinda Christmas party thing. My mom liked the idea so we're gonna plug in some Christmas lights and decorate with Christmas decorations. I think it'll be fun...
As for this afternoon, I'm teaching piano lessons. After I'm done with that and lunch, Ri and I will probably go bladding. (the usual)

Rain, beautiful rain...

We finally have fall weather. I love fall weather, especially after such a hot summer. Ri and I can go bladding now without coming home soaked in sweat. Yesterday we went bladding up at the school. There's a sign that says no bladding there but nobody has ever stopped us before. While we were bladding some teachers came up to do something. We were thinking that they might tell us to leave but they didn't seem to care. They were probably happy to see some teenagers out getting exercise instead of sitting around smoking pot.
Today I have a piano student coming over for a lesson at three. Which reminds me that I need to call my students and set up the fall lesson schedual. This fall I'll probably have seven students. Three boys and three girls. It'll be nice cause there'll be enough kids to have a recital at my house instead of having a joint recital with my teacher's students.

North Bend

Today my mom, sibs, and I went to North Bend. My mom wanted to buy some new clothes for Zach and Maddie. Who would have thought that she'd want to take like an hour in the Oshkosh store? Oh well, at least she got the clothes and is happy. Mason bought high-top converse so he thinks he's the coolest eleven year old out there. Kinda irritating if you ask me. I mean he could buy a cheap pair of knock offs for like half the price. He doesn't need name brand shoes, or does he?
Ri and I found some wonka pins for our school backpacks. This year we're going to collect pins on our backpacks. So far I have Wonka, Switchfoot, and Kutless. I'm trying to get all of my fav. bands. So I still need FM Static, RK, and Superchick. There's probably others that I'm forgetting...

Computers

Wow, after church my dad, sibs, and I went to Frys to look at some computer stuff. My dad thinks I should get a new hard-drive for my computer. (I wouldn't know... I know nothing about computers) My computer however is too old to use any of the hard-drives they were selling though. When we started looking into it I realized that if I want my computer to be any good I'm going to just have to buy all new stuff. My dad and I like the little tiny computers which you buy as a barebone computer. However they are pretty expensive for me since they cost like $200 and don't have everything you need to run them. We were looking at a Shuttle model SK43G. Hopefully I can find one that I can afford.
I was supposed to go babysit tonight but all the familys I was going to babysit for were sick. Oh well, I guess I'll just hang around the house this evening...

Sleepovers and other fun STUFF

Today I'm heading over to my friend Hope's house for a sleepover. It'll be fun. Hope and I haven't gotten together much this summer because she keeps going on trips. Maybe I can borrow my dad's digital camera and take some pictures to post.
By the way... Happy Banana Lovers Day! (I just had to say that.) Today's also national "Just because day", there's alot of national holidays that nobody knows about.
Ri and I made put together invites for our b-day party this morning. We're having a Wonka party and we're going to go to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with a bunch of our friends. I heard that it's kinda strange but good. We actually got our invites printed professionally for free. (Thanks to my boss at work, I work at a printery in my spare time) Our invites are actually candy bars with a wonka wrapper (complements of the Renton Printery) and a golden ticket inside (also complements of the Renton Printery) with the party details on it. They turned out really cool. The golden tickets are actually made of gold paper. Rich, my boss, said that the gold paper costs almost two bucks a sheet! I'm so thankful that he helped me make them for no charge. If any of my friends out there read this and are interested in going to the movie give me a call...

Banana Lovers Day

Tomarrow is national Banana lovers day... So here's some interesting (or maybe not so interesting facts about bananas)

Over 96% of American households purchase bananas at least once each month.
Bananas are a good source of vitamin C, potassium and dietary fiber.
Bananas have no fat, cholesterol or sodium.
Bananas are great for athletic and fitness activity because they replenish necessary carbohydrates, glycogen and body fluids burned during exercise.
There is no such thing as a banana tree. Bananas grow on plants.
Bananas are not grown commercially in the continental United States. They are grown in Latin and South America from countries like Costa Rica, Ecuador, Colombia, Honduras, Panama and Guatemala.

So don't forget to eat a banana tomarrow and be amazed at God's great gift to us. (banana candy doesn't count, it's gross and usually doesn't include any actual bananas)

Today

Today I'm babysitting Alicia, the norm. Sarah's going to come home for lunch though. She and her husband, Mike just bought a bigger better house so we're going to go on a walk and look at the model home that is like what their new house. (their new house is in the process of being built) I saw their new house last night and I'm kinda jealous. I wish I was moving in there. It has five bedrooms plus a bonus room.
I've been working on my first piano song for this school year. I'm hoping to have it ready in time for the fall recital. It's called, "All I Ask of You". It's from the Phantom of the Opera. Rabenstrange,(my brother) said that I should learn the "Point of No Return" but it's eight pages long and would take FOREVER to memorize.
Well I got 2 go...

Wednesday

Not much has happened yet today... However yesterday when I was taking my dog on a walk I bumped into Chris Hudson. He's Rabenstrange's friend from when he was in grade school. That was interesting since we hadn't talked to him in years.
I'm trying to get back on track with getting up at a decent time. Today I managed to drag myself outa bed at around eight. Which is quite a bit better than the nine or ten range I've been averaging.

Wild Waves

Today I went to Wild Waves. Or the not so enchanting village as my dad calls it. De Anna came too. We rode the Timber Ax lots of times. Now I'm just surfin. Well I gotta go make dinner.

Return of the Guitar

I finally have a guitar again. Ohhhh Right! It stunk not having it. For those of yous peoples who didn't know I broke a wire so I had to have it repaired. Many thanks to Brad who took it home and resoddered it for me for nothing. A much better deal than some repair shop would've given me.
I have my own computer now! YES! It's super cool to have my own computer with internet access. It's not the best computer but it definately works.

So I guess they think I'm a skater, not quite accurate but at least it didn't say I'm a goth like the last test I took.
So let's see what's interesting hmm.... I'm babysitting Alicia today, the usual. Tomarrow I'm having a sleepover with some of my friends and we're gonna go to an outdoor movie. Napoleon Dynamite that is. It's free so we figured what the heck since we were already planning a sleepover might as well go. Other than that my dad and two of my brothers are camping so we've gotten a break from them. Yesterday I had some friends over and we hung out which is kinda unusual since I rarely have friends over let alone two in one day for no particular reason.
Ri and I are trying to plan our birthday party. We're probably going to have a sleepover like last year. If anyone has any cool ideas for our party I'd love to hear them...
Next weekend Ri and I are going shopping with our aunt for school clothes. Every year our aunt takes us shopping and buys us three outfits for our birthdays. It's alot of fun so I'm pretty excited about that.

35 DAYS !!!

Ok, I know I'm a bit crazy about Switchfoot but they're awesome!!!
Today I spent all day in the car. It was uber hot out too. I got my first college book! I'm so excited to start this fall. I got my Japanese book. It was only ten bucks so that was nice. I got my math book on ebay for sixty some dollars which is much better than the one hundred twenty that BCC wanted for it. I even got it new. I still need to buy my two history books though which are thirty and fory.
So let's see other interesting stuff. Oh yeah FM Static is supposed to be releasing their second CD late summer or early fall. However they haven't set a release date yet so who knows when it'll actually come out.
So how do peoples feel about the law that changed day light savings time? I think it stinks. I hate getting up in the pitch black. Now I'll have to do it all the way till November.
Oh, of the peoples who are going to BCC, is anyone willing to work out some sort of carpool with me? I really need someone to carpool with cause my mom really doesn't want to take me and I won't get my license till around Christmas.

Switchfoot Rocks!

Hey peoples! Check out Switchfoot's website. Their new CD Nothing is Sound finally has a release date, Sept. 13,05. Ohhhhh Right! I've already preordered my copy. If you go to their sight you can hear a sample of their new hit single Stars. It sounds pretty cool. So in honor of their new CD what do you peoples think is their best CD and best song so far? Please comment with your votes.
