The Tour

The chocolate factory tour was SOOO much fun. And yes, there was as many free samples as you could eat at the end. It was reallly interesting seeing all of the machinery that was used in the chocolate making process. Did you know that they can't use any water in the process? In order to clean the beans, they put them through this machine that blows really hard and blows all the dirt off.
Also, Theo chocolate beans come from all over the world. They sell their chocolate according to where it came from. The different countries' chocolate tastes totally different. My favorite was the chocolate from Madagascar, it had an almost fruit like flavor.
Unfortunately, the chocolate was very expensive. The chocolate bars ranged from $3.25-$6.00. The confections were $1.50 each. The flavors were really interesting; chai tea, curry, bread n butter, vanilla, and coffee. Unlike chocolate that you buy at normal stores, this chocolate actually has alot of cocoa in it, including in the milk chocolate so it tastes much more intense.
