dup-dakes

I have a little sister who is three. She has a speech problem and doesn't pronounce all of her letters properly. its no surprise that she does, when I was little, I had speech therapy because my older brother Rabenstrange and my mom were the only people who could understand what I said. Anyways, yesterday Maddie was working on a preschool workbook page. When she finished, she proudly showed her work to our mom. It was one of those pages where theres a picture of an object and a blank line next to it to write the first letter of the word. As my mom looked over the page, Maddie had done all of them right except for one. This one was a picture of a cupcake. Next to the picture, Maddie had written a D. We found out that since she can't pronounce Cs, she replaces them with Ds. Since she says Dupdake instead of cupcake, to her it only made sense to write a d. Well, thats my adorable little sister.

She even replaces C's with D's when she writes? That is kinda cute lol. My brother never went that far.
